- Do not plug the camera to USB!
- Unplug all USB devices, leave only keyboard and mouse
- Only then, please download and install
PS3 Eye Camera Driver Installation
Unfortunately I can't be of much help but I also use a PS3 Eye and the options are greyed out for me too. I'm not sure what your model will look like for the points to overlap so all I can suggest is changing the angle the camera sees you or changing the curves so you don't have to move your head to where they overlap. Maximum possible framerate for Sony PlayStation Eye camera is 60 frames per second. Sony advertises PlayStation Eye camera as capable of capturing at 120 frames per second but framerates over 60 FPS result in too much noise in PlayStation Eye camera sensor and are not usable for motion capture. PlayStation®Eye camera. The recommended distance between the camera and the motion controller is about 1 to 3 meters (3 to 10 feet). Set the PlayStation®Eye camera to the wide angle view (see 'Setting up the PlayStation®Eye camera'). The motion controller operates in an abnormal manner, or cannot be used as intended. I have been working on a driver for the PlayStation Eye Camera and the first beta release is now available on github! Happily there were lots of open source projects out there that were of great help, including the PS3 Eye Linux driver. For those who are unfamiliar with this camera, it's an extremely good value (only $7 on Amazon right now) and it has a decent sensor which is capable of 60 FPS.
- If the camera has a cap, please remove it, If not – please carry on to point 2.
- Make sure your antivirus software is disabled while you will be installing the camera driver!
- Make sure you HAVE NOT PLUGGED the camera to your USB 2.0 port yet!
- Install the drivers – it is the CL-Eye Test program (it includes drivers too)
- Reboot the system
- Plug the camera direct to your motherboard USB 2.0 slot, DO NOT USE USB Hubs – very important.
- Wait for the system to update the registry
- You are good to go to the next step
Camera Check!
After installation of the drivers please make sure your camera is working with the “CL-Eye test” it is a program installed with the drivers. More in the next step.
CL-Eye Test
This is built-in software delivered with the PS3 Eye camera PC drivers. You need to go to Menu and from DEVICES choose PS3 Eye Camera before you will be able to change anything.Then go to OPTIONS and click VIDEO CAPTURE FILTER to open the window. Please use it to pre-set your camera threshold before you go to set up the threshold in Opentrack. Please set your gain and exposure to get the results as similar to the video guide as you can.
Please note – if you are not satisfied with the LED dots size in your head tracking software you should remove the IR filter from your PS3 Eye camera. We do not guarantee perfect results until you have dedicated and properly modified camera.

It is always worth to trying any camera you actually have, before you go and buy another!
Please bear in mind, that the basic, unmodified cameras, never get the best performance when compared to 75 frames per second with PS3 Eye Camera.

There are many (recommended) cameras which will work great as a tracking receiver.
Unmodified cameras (not bought from us)
This only applies if you source the camera by yourself, our cameras does not need the below mod Neptune rising no stream available 2018 full.
If you will use the unmodified camera you have sourced it from somewhere else, make sure you have already fitted the 2 pieces of the transparent coloured film enclosed with the DELANCLiP on the top of the lens of your camera.

If you use your own (modified) camera without an IR filter – it is a must to use a bit of film from the floppy disk drive, otherwise, the camera will not function properly for head tracking.
